Monteverde is a large natural conservation area located on the borders of the Puntarenas, Guanacaste and Alajuela provinces of Costa Rica. It comprises several private protected reserves, including: Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and Bosque Eterno de los Niños (the largest private protected forest in the country, with more than 30,000 hectares of land, where the forest of Selvatura Park adjoins).

- Inside the park, both in the vehicular parking area, bathrooms and trails, you are not allowed to smoke.
Keep areas clean. Within the trails you will not find containers to deposit garbage.Stay within the trails, in case of any eventuality go to the officials of the area.
