Without a doubt, the Río Celeste is one of the great natural wonders that our country keeps.

Its light blue color that filters through its green mountains is the product of the union of two rivers with different mineral contents that originates from the slopes of the Tenorio Volcano.

This river is protected by the Tenorio National Park, which belongs to the Volcanic Mountain Range of Guanacaste.

Our recommendation is that you pack comfortable clothes, tennis shoes or mountain shoes and plenty of water, since the route is approximately 5 km where you can appreciate all the flora and fauna that this spectacular site offers you.
